OpenRunner

OpenRunner is a motion-tracking app for logging your walks, runs, bike rides, or any other outdoor sports activity. To track your movement, OpenRunner uses your smartphone's GPS to save real-time data such as location, distance traveled, changes in altitude, and speed.

Import routes in GPX format and follow them

If you want to follow a certain route, OpenRunner allows you to retrace routes that you've recorded in the past, as well as import GPX files downloaded from the Internet. In addition, you can download the surrounding maps to follow these routes even when you're offline. Thanks to this, you'll always know where you are, even if your smartphone has poor coverage in that area.

Share your location in real time

If you choose to track a route, in addition to having tons of information after finishing it, you can also share it in real time with your loved ones to let them know where you are in case something happens to you. You can also take photos and associate them with specific parts of each route for additional data.

OpenRunner has an active community, as well, so you can choose to add comments about specific areas, such as roads or dead ends.
